The city of Toledo, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, is just 70 kilometers from the capital, Madrid. Toledo was the capital of medieval Spain for 200 years. Today is the capital of Castilla La Mancha, the land of Don Quixote.

It is considered by many a “Second Rome” and the most beautiful city in Spain. Three cultures from three single-faith religions – Muslim, Hebrew and Christian – left their imprints on this cradle of civilizations – as Cervantes wrote -.
Toledo has been able to preserve a thousand-year-old urban, architectural, and artistic heritage. Churches, synagogues, mosques, convents, city walls, bridges, towers and an endless amount of cultural and artistic possibilities held in their buildings make Toledo a museum waiting to be discovered.
