Study Abroad in Spain

Extremadura, located in the west of Spain, is one the most interesting options to enjoy both the wealth of historical and artistic heritage and lush nature.

In this region students will discover monumental places like Guadalupe, Merida and Caceres, declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and the best preserved ecosystem of Mediterranean forest: the Monfragüe National Park. This Biosphere Reserve has the greatest number of bird species in Europe and has been declared an Area of Special Protection for Birds.

Gastronomy is another good reason to stay in this land. The Pata Negra, probably the best ham in the world, comes from the Iberian Pork that lives in holm oak forests of this region.
