A GAP YEAR IN SPAIN

CIRI – Intercultural Studies Abroad is proud to offer foreign students the opportunity to discover the Spanish Language and Culture with one of the most reputable Spanish universities, the Complutense University of Madrid.

Students will enjoy an international, multicultural environment and will have access to the facilities of the Complutense University. CIRI and the Complutense will attend to all your needs.

You will receive official credits from this prestigious university. Prior to you coming to Spain you should check with your university if it accepts Complutense University credits. If necessary, contact your academic advisor to be sure these credits will be recognized and/or homologated.

CIRI has divided its academic offer in two programs: Spanish Language & Culture and Intercultural and International Studies. Students may take courses from both.

Spanish Language & Culture is focused on Spain, and students will discover our country through some of the best expressions of Spain’s rich heritage and renowned artists of contemporary culture and society.

The Intercultural and International Studies program puts emphases on international and comparative cultural studies. Its main objective is to understand in depth and be able to work effectively in complex and diverse international environment.

Most courses in our programs are taught both in English & Spanish. To take other courses in Complutense University in Spanish, please, contact our advisors.
